Established in 1988 by Jeffrey S. Kay, M.D., Arizona Glaucoma Specialists is a leading provider of glaucoma care in Arizona and surrounding areas. Arizona Glaucoma Specialists provide a relaxed, caring environment in which every member of our staff works together to make sure you get the best treatment possible. Our state of the art facilities are equipped with the latest in diagnostic and laser equipment that include visual field perimeters, fundus cameras, retina imagers, an optical biometer, Argon, YAG, Diode, and SLT lasers. We are dedicated to providing the highest-quality of care for our patients.

Dr. Kay is board certified in ophthalmology and fellowship trained in glaucoma. He teaches and performs research at the University of Arizona and has participated in volunteer medical missions in Mexico, South America, and Eastern Europe. Dr. Kay has a special interest in congenital and juvenile glaucoma and has developed a unique surgical technique for early intervention to preserve sight in our youngest of patients.

Our team of doctors includes Max C. Kim, M.D., who is board certified in ophthalmology and fellowship trained in glaucoma. Dr. Kim also practices full comprehensive eye care with a special interest in cataract surgery. We have two medical optometrists who provide quality care in a compassionate manner. Our ophthalmologists provide the latest in cataract surgery and both glaucoma laser procedures and invasive glaucoma surgery. Our optometrists provide general eye care, diabetic eye care, and co-management of cataract and glaucoma care.
